Finally 2 months later we got the old familiar "You Spoke and We Listened" comment announcing that Ebay would now be lowering their prices to honor this $0.06 lowering of first class postage on the first 4 ounces. Ebay took the stance that they were afraid they would have to repay the amount if the decision went against whoever caught the problem. When I made the change it was only over a mere $0.06 difference on the first 4 ounces that Ebay refused to lower their prices while all of the other sites did. These types of issues are why I switched to a few years back and have no intention of ever using Ebays label program again. Tue Oct 20 21:31:31 took the words right out of my mouth. The bottom line here is as always - eBay doing something sleazy that costs sellers money, benefits eBay - and like any good crime organization - theres little you can do, they use force to do it and they dont apologize for the bad behavior(s). Things like THAT (its like the manipulation of listings by playing the sponsored listings game)(why have a good seller reputation and try to get good placement when listing you item when you can just buy your way to the top?) even though seller X ships exactly when he/she said they would - its just not fast enough for eBays morons. "seller X ships slowly - so lets put seller Y's listing on top cause he ships faster". It also must have slipped your mind - how "eBay Advises Sellers to Look at USPS Alternatives" - do you understand what is going on? can you see the manipulation ? Theres NEVER a "glitch" that magically makes sellers more money. If you cant see it, dont see it, dont want to see it (like some others here) - thats fine - but it exists - its the white underbelly of the ecommerce community.īesides the individual issues - take into consideration if you can - what RIC and the others have said.Įvery time theres an issue - no matter what part of eBay its in - it always always always skews to eBay. Im not going to take the time here to explain the 20+ years of eBay theft, fraud and manipulation. Beware the eBay Shipping Label Switcharoo
